How about a weave key? It's 4 barrels, run the front two like a regular barrel race and the back two like a keyhole

No flag race or buddy race....lol Other than that I'm good with anything. If you want something short maybe have the 5th event be the figure eight. If not, I like Mike's 4-barrel suggestion or maybe even try out the "toilet seat".

How about we set Jake's yellow bike on one side of the arena, you have to race down there, take a part off, and come back across the finish line? Kind of like a modified flag race

I think it will work. We can use an axe off of the fire truck!!!! If you don't like the flag race I can remember a event that they use to have in the rodeo's down here in the late 80's. They would lay a springfield phone book at end of the arena and each rider would get a page number. You had to ride down and get it and come back!!! I'm sure glad they forgot about that one but it sure was funny when they would mess up and give 2 guy's the same number. Back in those days alot of things got settled with fight. Guess thats why they stopped having them for 14 years!!!!!!

I personally have never liked any of the events where you had to pick something up and bring it back or the buddy race. It's been kind of quiet here at work, I have been trying to think up something different.

How about this one Lloyd? Sorry for the crude paint drawing lol. You could start off by going to either the left or right side rear barrel. Attachments:

What about the event we made up at JC's last year. We never actually ran it during a rodeo though. The Clover LeafIt is a blast! I made an example to click on below. Attachments:
